The MintHub, a premium coworking space in Westlands, needed more than just desks—it needed a vibrant community, consistent occupancy, and a strong digital presence to stand out in Nairobi’s competitive coworking market. My role? Lead digital marketing, event management, and community-building efforts to turn Minthub into a hub for collaboration and business growth.

The Strategy: Digital, Events & Community Synergy

Digital Marketing – Making Minthub Irresistible
YouTube Ads Targeting Professionals – Ran hyper-localized ads showcasing Minthub's workspace, amenities, and community vibe, achieving a 40% increase in inquiries.
SEO & Content Strategy – Seo'd Google My Business and blog content for "best coworking space in Westlands," achieving a 65% increase in organic traffic.
Social Media Engagement – Highlighted member success stories, workspace features, and event recaps to generate FOMO.

"MintFridays" – The Networking Event That Took Off

Launched #MintFridays, a monthly networking event on the last Friday of every month.
Thoughtfully designed themes (Pitch Nights, Industry Panels, Founder Mixers) to enable high-value connections.

Result: 90%+ attendance rate, with many tenants renewing membership just to stay within the community.

"The Gist" – A YouTube Series for Brand Authority
Developed a YouTube show with entrepreneurs and freelancers at Minthub, sharing workspace advice and success stories.
Established Minthub as the one-stop knowledge hub for Nairobi professionals.
Increased the channel followers, with episodes being shared through business networks.

Building a Community – More Than Just a Workspace
Added member spotlight interviews (social media + blog) to help members feel like they belong.
Established a Slack community for tenants to share ideas, work together, and even get business deals.
Organized skill-sharing workshops (SEO, Fundraising, Productivity) in order to produce value rather than rent,

The Results: So Much More Than Occupancy
✅ 100% occupation rate within 8 months of opening.
✅ MintFridays were an event one had to visit, with outside professionals buying day passes just to join.
✅ YouTube channel accounted for 10% new sign-ups by way of organic engagement.
✅ Member retention was increased by 70% thanks to close-knit community vibe.
